Dumb Barge, Crane Base Structure

Dumb Barge, Crane Base Structure Our client required a conversion to allow a truck mounted crane to be mounted on the deck of an existing barge. Structural analysis was carried out on the barge and the existing crane base to ensure the crane could be safely operated to its maximum capacity. Further investigations into the barge’s stability were undertaken, and limiting crane lift tables generated based on minimum stability requirements.
