Coupled Dredge/Spud Barge Stability & Trim Analysis

As part of a major refit we were involved in analysing the stability and trim of a hinge-coupled barge/dredge. Due to the significant changes in trim during operation, including potential uplift forces from the spuds and the additional degree of freedom from the hinged coupling, this was a challenging project, which we proudly finished on time and budget.
