MMD Naval Architects was established in 1982 (formally known as McAlpine Marine Design), in response to a need for technically qualified Naval Architects specialising in the small and novel craft areas. MMD Naval Architects now has a diverse range of expertise, ranging from high speed light craft through to fishing vessels, tug boats, dredges and floating industrial plant.
