Welcome to MMD Naval Architects. We are consulting Naval Architects, located in Fremantle, Western Australia.

MMD Naval Architects can complete a wide range of Naval Architectural and Consultant Engineering roles. Our clients include commercial fisherman, work boat operators, fast ferry operators, shipyards and floating plant operators in the mining and heavy industrial sectors. We recognise and respect our client’s knowledge and expertise in developing the highest quality solutions.

SPRING News

From the start of October, Western Australian commercial vessels are required to conform with the NSCV. MMD has already applied the new code to several vessels, including the first Equivalent Solution Application to DOTWA.

Modifications to the Vessel “Fast IV” have been completed for Paspaley Pearls. The vessel is currently in operational trials and showing very positive results. MMD prepared structural modification details as well as trim and stability analysis for Pearl Marine Engineering in Darwin.

If you visited “Celebrate Maritime Day” in the Fremantle Passenger Terminal you would have seen our display. MMD were one of 37 exhibitors contributing to the fantastic event, visited by 6000 people.
